Jolly Design is the new owner of 1701 Nueces, known historically as the Steussey-Skinner residence. Mark Milstead of NAI Commercial Industrial Properties Co. represented the buyer while Ron Myers of Capital Leasing brokered the deal for the seller of the 1910 property.

In an NAI/CIP press release, Jolly Design said the property offers "room to grow as well as a great location." The 17-year-old firm is relocating from a leased site at 1905 N. Lamar.

In San Antonio, a dance school signed a five-year lease for 3,297 sf at the Stonehue Shopping Center at 20323 Huebner Rd. The deal pushed the center to 100% occupancy and the merchant builder to listing the recently finished retail property, David Ballard of Grubb & Ellis Co. in San Antonio tells GlobeSt.com.

The North San Antonio shopping center reaped $18 per sf for its space. It is on the market for $3.1 million with a 10 cap, Ballard says. He represented the tenant, Heather Stolle's School of Dance, which is doubling its space in a move from Cadillac Plaza. Mike Hoover of DB Harell in San Antonio negotiated on behalf of the building owner, Stone Partners of Pittsburgh.

Finish-out begins next week for the dance school. Move-in is set for August, says Ballard.
