Seller Mid Tex Oil, a major player in the oil industry in the region, has a significant portfolio of Texaco stations in Central and South Texas. The hawked asset carries the label and it will stay in place, Keith A. Coelho, president and principal of Henry S. Miller Commercial in San Antonio, tells GlobeSt.com. He represented buyer and seller in the transaction. More such sales, he intimated, could be coming as Mid Tex Oil rethinks its market positioning.
Coelho, who's keeping the price under wraps, said the San Antonio property went on the market in March. The one-acre holding, with a 2,400-sf convenience store, attracted several bidders, he said. The property is situated along the high-traffic Northwest Military Highway, north of Loop 410, in Castle Hills, a Bexar County community positioned within San Antonio's bounds and nine miles north of the downtown.
