The complex, a joint venture between Village Green and AEW Capital Management, sold the 214-unit garden-style community to Wilshore Development Group. The sales price was not released.

Built in 1987, the community is at the northwest corner of Dequindre and Hall roads, with access to I-75 and Downtown Rochester. Units range in size from 780 sf to 954 sf and offer private entrances, full-size washers and dryers, private balconies, and fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers. The property consists of 64 one-bedroom/one-bath, 40 two-bedroom/one-bath, and 110 two-bedroom/two-bath apartment homes and will be renamed to Whispering Woods Condominiums.

Joe Anthony, director of investment sales for CB Richard Ellis, represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction. Wilshore Development Group, LLC, is a real estate development and property management firm based in Clarkston, MI.
