The firm employs 5,500 in 300-plus offices in 100 countries. Its US headquarters is in a three-story, 140,473-sf suburban building in a submarket, where vacancy is just above 10% and absorption was practically flat in the first quarter--not too bad of a performance for the submarket. The renewal is particularly good news since a main submarket tenant, Devon Energy, is putting 170,000 sf of class A space on the market next month when it exits Three Memorial City Plaza.
The office building is part of the Koll Bren Schreiber Houston Portfolio. Doug Little of PM Realty bargained for the building owner. Lease terms are not being made public.
