The Florida-based investment group paid United Dominion Real Estate Trust of Richmond, VA $17.2 million or $69,355 per unit for the 98%-leased property at 145 Santa Clara Drive, just off Interstate 75.
The 42-acre asset, 140 miles northwest of Downtown Miami, has two pools, a clubhouse with business and fitness centers, tennis and volleyball courts, a spa and sundeck.
The transaction was brokered by Grubb & Ellis Co. agents Jim Garinger, David J. Stevens and Paul A. Sands; and Jamie May of JBM Realty Advisors.
