Todd McNeill of Dallas' Metropolitan Capital Advisors Ltd. tells GlobeSt.com that the five-year financing includes a five-year option. Addison RE LLC is the borrower of record for the capital obtained through locally based Park Cities Bank at 7.5% interest. McNeill says the interest is indicative of what is available for a single-tenant holding. To boot, the tenant, Carrollton-based Icehawks Association, is "a not for profit that just started," he says. "At the end of the day they were pleased with what they got."
The Rink in Addison at 15100 Midway Rd. serves as home to minor hockey leagues as well as training ice for area high schools and amateur teams. McNeill says the rink is buzzing with activity from 5 a.m. until 2 a.m. each day, definitely a good sign from the lender's perspective. The facility has two rinks, one regulation size, and 1,500 spectator seats. It also includes a 125-seat restaurant.
