Architect Davis H. Glass is tasked with growing the year-old construction services division. His objectives are threefold: build and renovate, aid the team with in-house construction and finish-out advice and seek new projects. At the crux of Glass' plan is a formula for "one-stop convenience," he says in a prepared statement.
For the last five years, Glass was construction manager for Prentiss Properties of Dallas. He has more than 20 years in the business, managing such large-scale regional projects as Micrografx corporate headquarters, Lakeview Center, IBM Call Center in Coppell and Verizon's headquarters. He also was involved in program management for the Dart light rail starter system. "Davis Glass has extensive 'construction services' experience in satisfying customers and that's an area we currently want to zero in on," Kartalis said.
McCarthy's promotion, Michael R. Krueger, has held a variety of posts with the firm, including stints at project director for the Midwest and VP of operations in the Northwest US. "Mike brings more than 25 years of operations' experience and a strong client orientation to ensure expectations are met," said McCarthy's Texas division president Michael J. McWay. Krueger will be responsible for overseeing and directing the civil and commercial building operations in Texas.
