Infinity also recently purchased the 116,000-acre Sand Wash Basin coalbed methane property, which is located in Northwestern Colorado and Southwestern Wyoming, between the Antelope and Pipeline projects.

There is the potential for "meaningful oil production" from deeper geologic zones, says Stanton E. Ross, Infinity's president and chief executive officer of the company.

Infinity, an independent energy exploration and development company with a specific focus upon coalbed methane projects, has obtained the rights to develop approximately 186,000 acres for prospective coalbed methane production in Wyoming and Colorado.
