The furniture distribution company left the building in October for a new 660,000-sf space in Tamarac.
Located off I-595 and I-75, the two-story class A structure occupies a 9.6-acre plot. The offices occupy 20,000 sf on the top floor and there is also a 24,000-sf mezzanine space. The transaction did not include the neighbring 4.9-acre parcel that is being marketed for $1.6 million.
As reported in GlobeSt.com five months prior to City Furniture's move, the company had originally listed the property through Cushman & Wakefield for $11.5 million. However, a glut of similar facilities in the area prompted the price reduction.
It appears Victory walked acquired the property at a slight discount. As of May 31 this year, Cushman listed the industrial building and the separate 4.9-acre parcel together for $8.95 million.
