The Carroll County complex will serve as the training facility for both local and state law enforcement personnel, while the two existing structures will encompass classrooms and a cafeteria. "We are providing first-rate facilities to train public safety officers from around the State," Governor Parris N. Glendening says of the project. "The complex will offer classroom instruction, as well as firearms and driver training in one central location to meet the growing demand for law enforcement training." All work is scheduled for completion no later than the fall of next year.
