Vision Comfort Corp. will be setting up its wholesale business at 7808 Kempwood Dr., situated near Texas 290 in the northwest distribution corridor. The space is part of a 155,000-sf industrial building owned by Houston-based Weingarten Realty Investors.

Jim Bartlein was the in-house representative for Weingarten. Stephen B. Schneidau of the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented Visual Comfort in the lease.

Weingarten owns approximately 3.4 million sf of industrial space in Houston, which complements its 7.2 million-sf local retail portfolio and the 161,000 sf of office product it owns around town.

At 12112 Almeda Rd., the Environmental Infrastructure Group LP heads into 10,500 sf. The Cushman & Wakefield Houston team of B. Kelley Parker, John F. Littman and H. Frank Stanley represented the building owner, Marty Skolnik Inc. in the negotiations. Phil Arnett of Houston's Trione & Gordon handled the bargaining for the tenant.
