Haag Engineering's acquisition totals 2.8 acres and is positioned along Jess Pirtle Boulevard in Sugar Land Business Park. Keith P. Grothaus of Houston's Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group negotiated the transaction for the buyer.

New Concepts Properties purchased a 0.6-acre site at 1214 Eldridge Rd., also within the business park boundaries. Mohammed Mulla represented the buyer. New Concepts intends to build a dry-cleaning facility. The calendar is marked for a January 2003 opening.

Sugarland Properties' G. Peter Jacobs, director of retail leasing, negotiated the sales. Sugarland began development on the 9,700-acre First Colony about 20 years ago.
