Town Planner Timothy Higgins tells GlobeSt.com that the project was approved unanimously. The site had been zoned for single-family residential but its rezoning for office and research and development use will now allow the project to go forward. Higgins says that the town has been working with the King of Prussia, PA-based developer for nearly two years on the project and is looking to increase its tax base, noting the town needs the money "desperately."

The project still needs local and state permits before it can break ground, most notable of which is state approval for a reconfiguration of traffic ramps that provide access to the property.
