The Carson, CA-based dental merchandise and equipment supplier is using the building for a sales and distribution center. James Harper, associate director with the Phoenix office of Insignia/ESG represented the seller, Southern Properties LLC. Harper tells GlobeSt.com that JB Dental was so eager to get into the building that it moved in prior to closing under a short-term lease. The buyer also completed about $40,000 in upgrades prior to signing the final papers, according to a press release. JB Dental relocated from a smaller office along University near 53nd Street.
Harper says Southern Properties owned the building for about four years. Half of the structure is leased to Direct Marketing Associates, which is remaining as a tenant.
