To carry out its end of the bargain, the city has hired Schoor DePalma, an engineering and design firm that operates out of 13 offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. Schoor DePalma's role will include everything from construction management services to tax assessment analysis for the construction of Greene Street and associated infrastructure improvements, according to city official. The project is also designed to serve the goals of the "Gold Coast" business redevelopment section of Jersey City's master plan.
