The north submarket was stable in the first half of 2002, according to an early look at NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties Co.'s midyear market report. Renee Hicks, NAI/CIP office specialist, tells GlobeSt.com that the submarket's vacancy rate was 21% at the end of June, the same as it was in December 2001. Rental rates, she says, are within 75 cents per sf of their December average, which was $21.34 per sf.

The new tenants at 9415 Burnet are Fabric Cleaners, which took 823 sf, and Quick and Easy Relocation Specialists, which leased 353 sf. The renewal came from Garden Spot Deli for its 1,589 sf. The other tenants new to the building are Hair by the Guys, 850 sf, and Select Source, 315 sf. Curtis Mercer of the Mercer Co. represented Select Source.

The three-story brick building has store-front retail on the first floor with the rest occupied by office users, according to Hicks. CIP Property Management Services Inc. manages the property. Tax records list John McCormick as the building owner.
