The tenant is a new privately held affiliate of Louisville, KY-based Atria Inc. The lease carries a 10-year term. The deal is one of three sale/leaseback transactions recently completed by Nationwide. The healthcare-focused real estate acquired 38 senior housing and long-term care properties in seven states totaling roughly $142.5 million.

Nationwide invests in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and continuing care retirement communities. The publicly held company also has investments in two rehabilitation hospitals.

Atria, formerly Atria Senior Quarters, was created by the merger of Atria Communities, the Arbor Co. and Kapson Senior Quarters. The company currently manages or owns roughly 100 facilities in more than 20 states.
