The 294-key hotel is situated within Forrestal Village, a complex of upscale boutiques and restaurants that is itself located within Princeton Forrestal Center, a sprawling business park that has names like Dow Jones, Merrill Lynch and Johnson & Johnson on its roster. The conversion process will include a number of interior and exterior upgrades.

"We're thrilled to bring the Westin brand to Princeton," says Ted Darnall, president of North American operations for Starwood, which acquired the hotel in 1996 and had left it under Marriott management until now. "In the past, we have been very pleased with the performance of the property and look forward to offering future guests the Westin brand.
