The signing includes a 132,048 sf lease renewal and 15,350 sf lease extension, signed for 15-years. While the financial details of the long-term lease agreement are not being released, Washington Square representative Diamond Property Company tells GlobeSt.com that space in the building leases for approximately $40 to $46-per-sf.

Bethesda, MD's Lerner Enterprises and The Tower Companies developed the class A property and are Washington Square's joint owners under the name Washington Square Limited Partnership. The building's square footage includes 100,000 sf of retail space, some of which is leased by the upscale Morton's of Chicago Steakhouse. As for other building occupants, Washington Square is a law firm haven of sorts, playing home to the legal offices of Arent Fox Kintner Plotkin & Kahn, McGuire Woods Battle & Boothe, and Baker & Hostetler.
