The Hilton Head branch reports to the Legg Mason Carolina regional office in Charlotte, headed by J. William Matone, senior vice president and regional manager.
With the opening of the Hilton Head branch, LMRES has 19 offices in 10 states. LMRES is an affiliate company of Baltimore-based Legg Mason, Inc.
The brokerage places $2 billion annually in real estate debt and equity financing. The company services $8.5 billion in commercial loans.
