In a closely related transaction, Cendant itself has signed a renewal for the 26,750 sf the company also occupies at the same asset. Cendant is the New York-based franchiser of hotels, rental car agencies, tax preparation services and real estate brokerage offices, while NRT is a leading residential real estate brokerage company. The two transactions bring 339 Jefferson Rd. to 100% occupancy. Cendant is utilizing its space for general office purposes for its Jackson Hewitt tax preparation division.
Robert A. Fisher, director of leasing, and Susan Lulla, senior leasing associate, were the in-house leasing representatives for Lincoln Equities. The Rutherford, NJ-based company currently operates a commercial real estate portfolio of more than 1.7 million sf in the New York metro area.
