Bonner, a certified insurance counselor and risk manager, comes to FelCor from Wyndham Hotels in Dallas where she was director of risk management. pIn her seven-year tenure with Wyndham, she was responsible for procuring and managing insurance, ensuring compliance with regulating agencies, and developing policies to mitigate losses.
FelCor says in a prepared statement that Bonner's appointment is part of its increased emphasis to hold down insurance costs and losses.
FelCor owns a diversified portfolio of 183 hotels with 50,000 rooms and suites, including hotels managed by Hilton Hotels, Six Continents Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
