Kushner's construction division, Westminster Communities will build Horizons, according to Freireich. The luxury four-story building will be marketed to potential residents age 55 and over. Amenities will include a community room, fitness center and other recreational facilities. Cost of the project was not disclosed.

Westminster is currently wrapping up construction of Horizons at Franklin Lakes in Northern New Jersey, and has gotten approvals to build the 210-unit Carriage Park in the Princeton suburb of Lawrenceville, NJ. Kushner currently owns and manages some 24,000 apartment units, along with more than three million sf of office, industrial and retail space. Altogether, it has ownership interests in more than six million sf of commercial real estate in the Northeast and in Florida.
