Helen Hudson and Michael Spain, both of TIG Real Estate Services in Dallas, conducted the search for Winfree Academy. A weekend drive identified the perfect location at 1250 William D. Tate Ave., a retail center with ample parking for the school's 150 students and faculty, says Hudson. Buddy Clark of Center Management Co. in Dallas, negotiated the long-term pact for the building owner, SLJ Co. Winfree Academy, founded in 1996, also has schools in Irving, Lewisville and Richardson.

In North Dallas, the Pepper Square shopping center snagged a Tex-Mex and florist restaurant. The Sona Rosa restaurant signed a 3,500-sf lease while Preston Florist is taking 1,200 sf. Dallas' Henry S. Miller Commercial team of Dan Shoevlin and Vaughn Miller represent the building owner of the recently remodeled center at the crossroads of Preston and Beltline Roads.

Also in Dallas, the LA Weight Loss clinic cut a deal for 1,365 sf at Towne North Shopping Center. Shoevlin negotiated the pact on behalf of the owner of record, Towne North Shopping Center Partners Ltd.
