"Offering more specialty care and services along the I-270 growth corridor is one of our priorities at Kaiser Permanente," the center's medical facilities administrator Marcos Pesquera says in a statement. "By increasing the number of medical centers, we're making services more convenient for our current patients and making our brand of health care more available for prospective members."
As of April this year, Kaiser boasted nearly 100,000 members in the rapidly growing Montgomery County area.
