"The park's proximity to major thoroughfares will allow us to quickly reach markets throughout New England and positions us for more growth," says Mark Plasse, vice president of Litron. "Even more importantly, this facility enables us to keep our Western Massachusetts headquarters and retain valued staff."

"Fortunately, Westmass had land available to suit Litron's expansion and relocation needs," says Ronald J. Abdow, chairman of Westmass. "It's a win-win solution"

"Litron, Inc. is a great regional story," says Allan W. Blair, president and CEO of Westmass. "Homegrown, the company thrived in Western Massachusetts, then found a fully permitted industrial site at Agawam Regional Industrial Park. Retaining a high-tech company such as Litron speaks volumes for the way we collaborate as a region to foster and accommodate economic growth."

The project is being financed by Hampden Savings Bank and the Small Business Administration.

Westmass Area Development Corp. is an affiliate of the Western Massachusetts Economic Development Council. It has pre-permitted land and a wide range of existing facilities for business location or expansion.
