In return for Silverton's contribution to local employment, the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development and Salisbury-Wicomico County Economic Development Inc. have committed to giving Silverton low-interest loans in the amounts of $600,000 and $500,000, respectively.

"Maryland's strong economy continues to attract businesses from across the country," Gov. Parris N. Glendening says of Silverton's move to the area. "Working together with local jurisdictions like Wicomico County, we are able to highlight our strengths, such as a highly educated workforce and high quality of life--qualities that are so important to companies when they are deciding where to locate and expand."

Located at 2015 Industrial Pkwy., the facility sits on an 11.65-acre plot, and was previously home to printing company Webcraft Technologies. In addition to 54,000 sf of industrial space, the two-story structure offers a 12,000-sf office area.
