According to the terms of the four-year agreement, La Canasta Furniture will occupy 173,000 sf at the facility, which encompasses a total of 418,000 sf. The furniture company has been a tenant at the building, which is located at 1235 Quarry St., for the past three years.

La Canasta Furniture was represented by Howard Glasser of American Commercial. Jeff Chiate and Rick Ellison of Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of the landlord, Larry Bedrosian.

Industrial users continue to seek out Inland Empire product, as this market has attracted a steady stream of tenants even during the economic downturn. This region boasts two key characteristics that are advantageous to companies of all size: low rental rates and a varied selection of new product.
