Tiltrac Corp. is filling a spot that's been empty for about eight months. The best part of the relocation to 16115 Dooley Rd. is that it's roughly one mile from its current address. Dan Spika of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com that the property is a rare find, tucked back on a side street. "I found it and I put an opportune deal in front of them," he says.

Spika and Gerry Fields, also of Henry S. Miller Commercial, represented Tiltrac while the city handled its side of the negotiations. The single-tenant property was acquired in recent years and now is deemed surplus for municipal purposes.

Still settling into 5,000 sf is Turner-New Zealand, a food distributor for restaurants. The Newport Beach, CA-based supplier leased industrial space at 2158 NW Crossing for the short term, with room to grow via an option, says Scott Gregory of Dallas' TIG Real Estate Services. He represented the tenant in the search for its first Dallas-Fort Worth location. Building owner, Houston's Weingarten Realty Trust, used in-house representative Allen Lang to negotiate its terms.
