In the largest of the subleases, BioArray Solutions has taken 32,660 sf. Matthew Baker of Insignia/ESG of New Jersey's East Brunswick office represented the new tenant, which provides on-chip assay solutions for molecular medicine. BioArray is relocating from Piscataway, NJ.
In the other transactions, GAIN Capital has taken 10,800 sf. The independent provider of on-line currency is moving to 35 Technology Drive from another location in Warren. Also, the accounting firm of Shapiro & Shapiro, which is moving from Maplewood, NJ, has subleased 5,900 sf. Ward Greer of I/ESG represented the tenant in the latter two transactions.
Referring to the market in general, "we are definitely experiencing an uptick in demand and leasing velocity," according to Greer.
