Shoe Carnival signed a deal for 12,000 sf at Dowlen Town Center, situated on the northwest corner of Dowlen and Folsom roads in Beaumont, a city about 87 miles northeast of Houston. The Seitz Group is the property owner. The Shoe Carnival will open doors in October.

Adam Schiller and Geoff Henrion, both with the Dallas office of Staubach Co., represented Shoe Carnival in the lease. The Evansville, IN footwear retailer has more than 200 stores in the Midwest, South and Southeast.

In Houston, Drs. Brett L. Garner, Nestor Martinez and Ramino Torres leased 5,040 sf at Hunting Bayou shopping center, positioned at 11430 Interstate 10. The trio will open a physical therapy and rehabilitation center. Building owner A-K Hunting Bayou LC was represented by Bob Conwell of Houston's NewQuest Properties in the lease negotiations.
