The Glen Town Center features a "Main Street" design that will include luxury multifamily rental units above stone storefronts, as well as row houses. Von Maur, Galyan's, Crown Theatres and Borders Books and Music are anchors to the 470,000-sf retail portion of the development, of which 300,000 sf has been leased by Oak Brook, IL-based Mid-America Real Estate Corp.

OliverMcMillan is preserving Hangar One, built in 1929 and designated a National Historic Landmark by the US Department of the Interior. "This development will demonstrate how government, preservationists and developers can work together to create a successful project and meaningful gathering place while paying homage to the past," says chief executive officer Dene Oliver.

The development also includes 337 multifamily units, both rental and condominium.
