The Wm. Rigg Co. will relocate Oct. 1 from 309 W. Seventh St., capping a search of Fort Worth buildings that lasted a year to 18 months, Tim Terrell of Stream Realty Partners inDallas tells GlobeSt.com. The new office is about 5,000 sf larger.
"They evaluated a lot of different things," Terrell says. "It took time and they selected the best long-term offer." In the end, the final decision was a combination of pricing and growth factors for the insurance company. He says six to eight CBD buildings were reviewed before final talks began with Crescent Real Estate Equities' in-house leasing manager Whit Kelly. The insurance company is sliding into vacant space to return occupancy to 99%.
Jay Scheideman, COO for the Wm. Rigg Co., assisted Terrell in brokering the terms for the company. Crescent Real Estate Funding I LP is the building owner of record. The Wm.
