New York, August 15, 2002 -- Moody's Investors Service upgraded to Aaa from Aa1 the ratings of Security Capital Group Incorporated and SUSA Partnership, L.P. This action follows General Electric Capital Corporation's (Senior at Aaa) guaranteeing this debt.

SUSA Partnership, L.P. senior notes to Aaa from Aa1.
