Nancy Noonan Garr reinvested proceeds from a property in Austin to acquire the Arlington asset from 77 Hunt I Ltd., a trio of local investors. The two-building complex is situated at 1007-1009 W. Randol Mill Rd., within blocks of Arlington Memorial Hospital.

The acquired property was not on the market, Nell Council of SCM Real Estate Services in Arlington tells GlobeSt.com. But she and SCM's president, Gary Walker, knew the building could be had plus knew there was a buyer specifically searching for Arlington real estate. Built in the mid-1970s, it houses medical-related businesses and an architectural firm.

The SCM Real Estate team along with Darrell Lummus of Dalworth Properties represented the seller in talks with the buyer's broker, Dave Bair of Prudential Owens in Austin. The sale was sealed with an $835,000 loan from First Savings Bank in Arlington, according to Council.
