At 504 Lavaca, the new quarters are in Austin's commercial business district. "They are now in a building outlying the commercial business district and they realized that many of their law firm clients were in the commercial business district," Kathy Carr, a broker with Commercial Texas in Austin, tells GlobeSt.com.
Carr and Mike Kennedy, Commercial Texas' president, represented the tenant at the bargaining table. Jinny Hines of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Austin team spoke for the building owner, Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors, which acquired the asset a year ago from Southern Union. Finish-out is underway. Prescott Legal Search will get the keys in mid-October, Carr says.
