Apartments, where rents start at $2,500 a month, include private laundry facilities and full Internet access. The common areas include a café market, craft studio, fitness center and spa, library, salon, sanctuary and private dining room.
Washington Mutual provided financing for the project, which has been in the works for more than three years.
Located at 865 N. Cass Ave., the 2.75-acre site is next to the Oak Brook Hills Resort and the 18-hole championship Willow Crest Golf Club.
Archideas, Inc. served as the project architect.
Cordia Senior Living operates similar facilities throughout the US. McShane Construction provided design/build services for the project.
