The new facility includes laboratory space to support the company's development efforts, as well as its corporate offices. Norman Selby, CEO and president of TransForm says that the move was needed now because the additional space and laboratory improvements will enable the company to move forward with its "near-term" growth plans. "The new space will enable us to continue to deliver value-added results to our strategic partners, as well as enable us to accelerate our own product development efforts. We believe this new facility will afford us the flexibility to accommodate our future growth," he notes.

The facility is located near Route 95 and is in close proximity to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, and a number of the leading biotechnology companies and research institutions--all of which played a factor in TransForm's decision to relocate to this area. "This location provides us access to the latest in technology developments as well as the ability to continue to attract local top-notch talent," points out Barbara Carter, TransForm's vice president of human resources.
