Immigration Department Continues to Expand in Croydon

LONDON-The Immigration & Nationality Directorate, part of the Home Office, has taken another 42,000 sf of office space in Croydon, the suburban office centre to the south of London. The move means IND has taken 160,000 sf in the town this year.

The acquisition means the IND has expanded by 160,000 sf already this year to cope with the surge in applications from asylum seekers.

Lambert Smith Hampton acted for the Home Office, and the landlord, Menaldi, wasrepresented by Smith Melzack Pepper Angliss.
