The property, located west of Phoenix, is an existing trans-loading facility equipped with rail sidings, storage and truck loading for handling the firm's chemical products. It will be the main market distribution point for the company's EPA-registered OxEG Biodiesel fuel products.
The property, owned by Bulk Transportation, will give the firm a stronger presence in the area. "Putting our own production into this potentially lucrative market should allow for significant revenue generation from the Buckeye facility and complement the other facilities SSPC is developing as a business development company," Harrison A. McCoy, III, SSPC's president and CEO, said in a prepared statement. McCoy said the company anticipates further growth in the Nevada and Colorado regions, both within easy reach of the new facility.
