In the largest of the recent transactions, Hadco, a kitchen appliance distributor, signed a lease for just under 53,000 sf of space. The company will use the facility for warehouse and distribution purposes. Weichert Commercial represented the tenant, while Nathin spoke for the property owner, 131 US Highway 46 Associates.
Also, Mahaffy & Harder renewed its lease for just under 41,500 sf at 140 Clinton Rd. here. The company, which makes packaging materials, uses the space for production and distribution purposes. The owner of the property is MAR Realty Associates.
Flowserve US Inc. also renewed its lease, this for 36,525 sf at 142 Clinton Rd., also owned by MAR Realty Associates. Flowserve, which makes industrial pumps and uses its space as a repair facility, was represented in the transaction by Mohr Partners.
Finally, Day International signed a lease for just under 19,900 sf at 159 Dwight Place. Day International, which makes and assembles printer dampening systems and will utilize the space for both manufacturing and distribution purposes, was represented by Allied Realty. Nathin represented the owner of the property, Ramfair Associates.
Other tenants in the complex include Prudential Insurance Co., Nextel Communications, Specialty Toner Corp and Redi-Mail Direct. "Of the 11 buildings, there are only two units currently available," according to Nathin, whose company has offices in West Orange and Wall Twp., NJ. "At 130 Clinton Rd., there is a unit of 2,800 sf of office space available, and there is 9,407 sf of office and warehouse space available at 134 Clinton Rd."
