Robert Morris College has leased 35,568 sf in Prudential Insurance Co.'s ITECH building at 1507-45 Waukegan Rd. The 135,170-sf building is now 100% leased as a result of the school's decision to open a satellite campus, part of its $35-million capital expansion program that also is adding classrooms in Aurora and Peoria to go along with current facilities in Joliet, Oak Lawn, Western Springs, Orland Park, Bensenville, Naperville and Springfield..

Michael P. Murphy, partner of the Chicago office of Panattoni Development Co., represented the insurance company, which bought the building last summer as part of a 3.4-million-sf portfolio acquisition.

Amhurst Lake Business Park is just south of Richard E. Jacobs Group's Lakehurst Shopping Center, where discussions have been going on for nearly two years about an $800-million redevelopment that would include a college or university. "We looked at many sites in the northern suburbs, but selected Amhurst Lake Business Park, because it best served our student demographics," says Robert Morris College vice president of business affairs Ronald M. Arnold in a statement.
