M&S launched the Simply Food format in London last year and now it is rolling it out across south-east England. Marks & Spencer is planning to open up to 150 Simply Food stores throughout the UK over the next three years. The stores typically trade out of 2,500- to 3,500-sf of retail space and require another 2,000 sf for storage and offices.
