The city and the chamber will meet in the next few weeks to determine how much the city plans to increase the rent on the small, historic building, which is located along Highway 9 in Saratoga. The city says it plans to bring the rental rate to market value, which could be anywhere from $500 to $1200.

However, the city has still not established whether or not the building was gifted to the city for specific use by the chamber. It has also yet to measure a definite square footage for the property. These conditions, along with the building's need for repairs, complicate the potential rental agreement terms.

The chamber is currently searching for other office space, as it waits for the city's decision.
