"The New Jersey commercial real estate community has responded overwhelmingly to this event," according to Richard Kelley director of the conference series for Real Estate Media, the parent company of GlobeSt.com, Real Estate Forum magazine, and regional publications Real Estate New Jersey, Real Estate New York, Real Estate Chicago and Real Estate Southern California.

"It is a new, different--and better--kind of real estate conference for the market," Kelley enthuses. "We are trying some new and innovative kinds of sessions with high profile speakers. Altogether, this will be an interesting, informative and entertaining day."

The event will be keynoted by George Zoffinger, president & CEO of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, who will discuss the redevelopment of the Continental Airlines Arena site and the political ramifications, end-use, infrastructure and economic issues that have been part-and-parcel of the process. He will also address what NJSEA is currently working on and will offer insights into what the world looks like to a real estate developer turned public/political official.

The program will then move on to a Town Hall Meeting featuring some of the top names in Garden State real estate. The format will encourage audience participation as panelists address all of the key issues affecting the economy and the real estate market. "In this session, it will literally be a matter of 'anything goes,' and we're encouraging everyone to come prepared to talk about what's on their minds," according to Kelley.

Subsequent sessions will address everything from New Jersey's controversial growth management plan, to transportation, "doing a deal in today's market," corporate real estate issues, industrial market trends, and capital markets and financing. The program will conclude with "Inside the Real Estate Mind," an up close and personal lunchtime conversation with Stan Gale of the Gale Co.
