In Flower Mound, the Rockaway, NJ-based Party City signed a 12,000-sf, long-term pact for the under-construction Highlands of Flower Mound, a 322,376-sf power center anchored by a 174,000-sf SuperTarget. Delivery is set for March 2003 on the project, which is coming out of the ground on the southwest corner of FM 2499 and FM 407.Karen McCulley and Steve Greenberg, both of Dallas-based Weitzman Group, represented the developer, Direct Development. Party City has 230 company-owned stores and 246 franchises in the US.
In Irving, Property Advisers Realty Inc.'s president, Jerry Reis, was the sole broker on a 4,562-sf renewal at Northwest Service and Tech Center, home since 1997 to HiSound Electronics. Property Advisers' Jason Miller also single-handedly re-upped a 1,140-sf, long-term lease for the US Naval Reserves office at Beltline Shopping Center, where it's also had an office since 1997.
Richardson is getting a 3,200-sf Gold & Silver shop at 100 S. Central Expressway. The store will open in mid-October. David Valdez of Henry S. Miller Commercial brokered the pact.
In Arlington, Accumed Home Health of North Texas took 1,486 sf for its 14th location in Texas. Theron Bryant of SCM Real Estate Services in Arlington represented the building owner, Point Joint Venture. The long-term lease is for the Point at 422 E. Lamar.
