No plans have been announced for the site, although township officials are said to be leaning toward developing it for varied recreational uses. Actual plans are not expected to be revealed until the sale of the property has closed.
The owner/seller of the site has not been identified. The sale price, however, is considerably lower than anticipated-the site has been listed for nearly five years for $2.5 million.
