Several of Santana Row's tenants, including Ann Taylor, BCBG Max Azria and Gucci, plan to be ready for business on Nov. 7, according to Federal Realty Investment Trust, the complex developers.
The shopping complex, which is located across the street from Westfield Shoppingtown Valley Fair, was originally slated to open on Sept. 19. However, after an 11-alarm fire destroyed a number of residential units, a few retail shops and parking lots.
Phase I of Santana Row consists of nine buildings. The building destroyed by the fire was the largest and contained 87,000-sf of the retail space, 940 retail parking spaces and nearly half of the Phase I residential space. The remaining 450,000-sf of retail space, 255 residential units, and hotel at the complex were not significantly affected. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
