The leases reflect an expansion for both Washington Mutual and Paine Webber International Banking Group and the relocation of Opus West Corp.'s headquarters. Other new tenants include Countrywide Credit Industries, Charles Schwab, Nova Home Loans and ACME AZ LLC. All the tenants will occupy the fifth and final tower at the near one-million-sf Camelback Esplanade property.
Financial services provider Washington Mutual added 7,222 sf to its existing offices at the 24th Street and Camelback Road complex. It will occupy the entire third floor for a total of 24,486 sf. Paine Webber added 2,500 sf to its offices to bring the firm's bottom line to about 27,000 sf. Leasing agents for the property are Tom Adelson, Jim Fijan and Jerry Roberts of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Phoenix office.
