Bridge Development's role in the deal included working with the seller of the acreage and obtaining necessary approvals to make the project work. The effort started 18 months ago, according to Phoenix Capital Partners.
Industrial development sites, especially those larger than 9 acres, are in short supply in Lake County. Industrial developers such as CenterPoint Properties Trust have long added southeastern Wisconsin to their territory, partly because of the lack of development opportunities in Lake County.
